What started off as a little pothole will become as the one you see in the picture if left unattended for a period of time. In order to carry high traffic volume, the bitumen’s thickness should be greater than the minimum thickness based on pavement design.
Obviously, if left unattended for another period of time, accident is waiting to happen. Even though there will be no accident, our cars need to be sent to nearby auto garage to fix for broken suspension, tire misalignment, etc. This phenomena causes users to incur increase in user cost.
