Halal Certificate Issuer

The Star today reported that the management of halal certificates is transferred back to the Islamic Development Department (Jakim) from the Halal Development Corporation (HDC). The report also said that Jakim will increase their research effort in the aspect of Halal issuance. Hopefully, the issuance of the halal certificate will be made professionally in the future to provide trust and confidence among the public.
