On the way back to Kuching from Serian, we were trailing quite a long platoon of vehicles. The slow moving traffic was due to several vehicles involved in traffic accident along Sri Aman-Serian Trunk Road.
A police patrol car and a towing truck was already at the accident scene.
The accidents involved several vehicles and a utility pole.
Traffic bottleneck in both directions due to the accident.
One of the utility poles gave way due to the impact of the accident. The overhanging pole posed as a threat to other road users. If the pole is not being fixed as soon as possible, more accidents will happen at the particular location.
